"Fish" routes on Kamchatka

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and port points of Ozernovskiy and Octyabrskiy - the only points on the Kamchatka peninsula to which catches can be easily delivered.

Today there are only two points on the Kamchatka peninsula to which catches can be easily delivered - port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and port points of Ozernovskiy and Octyabrskiy.
Only these places have infrastructure necessary to handle fishing boats.
Fish processing facilities in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky are particularly impressive. Given the investment in existing plants and building new plants, now their capacities are over 3000 tons/day.
Immediately on site caught fish (pollock, flounder, cod, salmon, etc.) is poured with ice and placed into thermally-insulated containers. On a boat containers with fish (500 kg each) are placed in refrigerated holds. Delivery to the fish processing plants takes no more than three days.
During the salmon fishing season, when the raw material comes from rivers, the caught is transported by road transport. The fish is also poured with ice and packed in insulated containers. Since delivery to plants takes no more than 5-10 hours, it enables to keep very fresh the valuable fish.
So buyers as well as end consumers can always be sure of the highest quality of fish, can’t they?
